A monogram is a motif made by overlapping or combining two or more letters or other graphemes to form one symbol. Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, used as recognisable symbols or logos. Some companies and organisations adopt a monogram for a logo, usually with the letters of their acronym.

Many fashion companies have a monogram for a logo, such as Louis Vuitton and Fendi.

Married or engaged couples may use two-letter monograms of their entwined initials, for example on wedding invitations or keepsakes.
